Welcome to Field Notes Consulting. I’m Jill, a user researcher and insights leader with 20+ years experience helping companies identify and solve real problems by staying close to their customers. I started Field Notes Consulting to work with new clients in new spaces.
I am expert at using mixed methods research and analytics to deliver strategic insights that support physical product development, digital experience design, and the end-to-end journeys that bring the two together.
I have both in-house and consulting experience. Across my career, I have been entrusted with the work of gathering, analyzing and interpreting data of all shapes and sizes to inform strategic planning and inspire creativity.
I am equal parts systems thinker and customer advocate. If I have a “super power,” it is my ability to work at the intersection of evidence-based insights and design thinking to expose opportunities to strengthen the customer relationship.
I believe that gathering data and interpreting insights is the beginning, not the end. Translating those insights into experiences that deliver shared value for the business and the customer is the ultimate outcome.
